Non plus ultra
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
"Non plus ultra" means "nothing more beyond" and can also mean the best or most extreme example of something.
In a very windy evening in a beach of Cascais and so very close to the Cape Roca, the western-most point of continental Europe, I took this one.
I do not take so much photos of sunsets, because probably there are too many, but this was the first time in my life that I could see a sunset at the ocean. Excuse me, but I had to do it!
In this point of Europe, there is nothing more of land beyond and it for me was the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen.
A "non plus ultra". |
