THis is a great shot of the clouds below the horizon Carlos. The size of the sun is great too. Must be great to feel on top of the world like that - thanks for sharing. I like the contrast with the clouds in the sky.

A cloud invasion of the Serra da Estrela, Carlos and only you can stop them ;-) Good composition, nice contrast and beautifully subdued colours. I like this shot very much!

And taken against the sun, I am very impressed with the quality of the light and the colours. This looks like a shot out of Lord of the Rings. It was worth climbing to the highest point in Portugal for, Carlos. Congratulations. It would have been even better with someone or something in the foreground. Next time try just holding out your hand so that it gets into the shot and see how it works.

Les nuages sur la ligne d'horizon font toute la valeur de cette photo. Ils délimitent les deux parties de la composition et apportent le contraste nécessaire au premier plan.

Very fine shot - I can recognize the light on this photo from some my own - very special and hard to catch - very well done Carlos. I like the feeling of being over the clouds - almost makes me high ;-)

Se fosse eu talvez fechasse um pouco mais (f8) e baixaria a velocidade.
Talvez assim o sol teria a luz mais concentrada num unico ponto.
Talvez funcione.
Mas, é um muito pequeno aparte.

Dear Carlos, from the thumbnail I thought this is a beach picture with good waves. I learned that is not correct :) It almost looks like a full moon picture. Very well done :) Yours, Jan

Those low clouds look like a wave of clouds roling in over the mountain. A very nice effect Carlos. He he, so you must have been pretty tall then ;)

Like a picture. Fantastic shot, Carlos. The clouds look beautiful and you managed to show some details in the foreground, even though shooting against the sun. Very well done.
