Photographer’s Note
The Medieval Fair of Óbidos extends across the streets, courtyards and alleys of the historic town. The rows of market stalls, where practical and decorative items made in the spirit of the Middle Ages are sold, create the real feeling of a fair. Along with the public, over a hundred actors, numerous musicians, dancers, beggars, victims of the plague and other performers liven up the market spirit. Outdoor reenactments performed amidst the public bring to the stage noblemen and peasants, clergymen, merchants, artisans and jesters. The displays by master craftsmen and apprentices, provides an insight into traditional medieval handicrafts. Also local traditional gastronomy will served in a true medieval atmosphere.

Hello Carlos,
A good photo of a great town. You have captured the feeling of actually being there walking the cobblestone streets. Point of view is right on leading the viewer up to the castle.
As you can tell from my photos, Obidos is my favorite town to photograph in Portugal.
Regards,
David...

Quando é que esta feira tem lugar? A foto está muito bonita e o ponto de vista excepcionalmente bom, mostrando o castelo todo.
