[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sintra is both a town and a municipality in Portugal, located in the district of Lisbon. The municipality of Sintra is the second largest in Portugal by population, after Lisbon.

The town itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on account of its 19th century Romantic architecture, but what amazes me most are its nearby forests.

If you get up early, sometimes the woods are filled with mist, providing an intense and magic atmosphere. This is when you start to believe in elves and dwarves!

I hope you enjoy!

You are a great photographer Joel
and it is still a pity that you stay hard with your
size upload....

Really, if you look under photo.net there are a lot of damn good photos in acceptable size...and they do not regret their upload and this is even a evidence of being sure what they do and they want really to share, not only to "earn points".

Sorry for my hard confrontation again, but every time when I watch your photos of this high level I am always disappointed of your size.

I still know your reasons and that is why I give you 2 points, although I would like to give you -2 :-)

Saludos
Sakis

PS: Please do not feel offended, it is just a great work I would like to enjoy in a bigger size! That is what I wanted to express, nothing personal, ok?

Would you like to watch FIFA world cup on a 4 inch tv???
for sure not!
Anyway, nice work!

Joel,

I empathise with your feelings on posting small images. It is frustrating to see work of this high standard at this size.

Howeve I won't let it detract from my enjoyment of your work and I congratulate you on this shot.

The muted colours, lovely depth and the mood created by the mist all contribute to a superb image.

Bonsoir Joel

Extraordinaire cette ambiance de cette foret, l'arbre au premier plan est magnifique et la lumiere au fond fééruique!!

Hi Joel

lovely shot with a magical/mystery feel to it with the mista round and especially as it is heavier towards the background. lovely mood, nice composition.
