Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken on a park called "Parque dos Poetas" (poet´s park) on the outskirts of Lisbon, in Oeiras. The place displays
several statues of famous portuguese poets. I liked the contrast of the Black and white marble from the statue against the very saturated
blue sky. This one is Fernando Pessoa, one of the most translated of our poets. I had posted a variation of this picture, with a poem by
Fernando Pessoa, in TE before, but misteriously enough, it vanished from my account, together with the critiques that were written !!!
Hope this one stays.
Slightly colour corrected and some tree branches erased from the background.

Very well exposed, it must have been difficult keeping detais in the black and the white. That's an interesting statue too, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Are the other sculptures as good as this? Please show us!

Tres original...et superbe photo...
La statue tranche à merveille sur le fond bleu, lequel a aussi des lignes qui font penser au marbre.
Personnage tres bien cadré....
Bravo ...tres fort!!!!
