Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken in Lisbon. My apologies I forgot to get the name of the man on the horse. This statue is located facing the sea close to the central part of Lisbon. Can the Potuguese help me identify the statue.

I like the green and blue. I went really low on this.

I really like the composition of this one Karin. A gorgeous sky too... well captured. Its a shame about the grafitti, but not your fault (i hope ;). There appears to be a greenish wash along the bottom... is that colour "bleeding" from the frame, or in the scene? Well done.

I'll give you the information: the statue is D. José, one of Portugal's king, responsable for the reconstruction of Lisbon, after the 1775 earthquake.

A very very nice composition, Karin. The blur sky is amazing, and you wisely included a large area of it. I like the green blue color of the statue. I made a WS, removed the graphity, but you didn't allow WS. Well done, Karin.
