Photographer’s Note
Rising 32.5 m high, Farilhao is a rock 20 m south of the cliffs of Ilhéu Grande of the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel, Açores and is crowned by a few fescue plants. Legend has it that young men would profess to their love by jumping from the ledges of Ilhéu Grande seen in the shadows on the left. Vila Franca do Campo is in the background. The largest ledge broke off and fell into the sea during the earthquake of September 2005.

Hi Bruce,
Well done - good sharpness, contrast and colors... The rock looks great - I like the engravements on the upper side; nice detail.
