IMPORTANT NOTE: This is my first of this new year cycle and I must thanks in advance to all TE members that by critiques and coments have contributed to the improvement of my skills, experience and knowledge. I must THANKS also to the Master and Administrator of this wonderful Photo Webs, that with pacience and altruism give to us this excelent sharing media, that you know is ADAM SILVERMAN. So, This Post is a Tribute to him that I selected from my pictures of my last travel to Azores Islands and thanks in advance to all TE members.

This is a picture taken at Horta Town in direction to Pico Mountain and Island, in a near distance of 8km with this impressive sky and with the top of the mountain near clear of clouds, what is difficult to get. You have also in my Travelogue posts and info, a picture of this Highest Portuguese mountain.

Technical notes and Information: The weather was not so good in that moment, the Sun was near my frontal approach, brighty moment and near midday.

ISO=64, Focal Lenght=38mm and Exif Version=2.21 with a little lower cropping and a smell of Contrast and Hue after reduction for post.

These beautiful Islands are located in the vast Atlantic Ocean somewhere half a way between Europe and North America.

These are natural and preserved nature wonders that have Sailors, Solitaire navigators and important world tourism and preserved Sportiv Game-Fishing with people linked to United States, Canada, Brazil, Europe and also naturally to Continental Portugal.

ola fernando, blue, blue, even more blue - this is your latest world which we can enjoy together with you, i like the idea of this image being about "pico" but in fact the hill occupaying only a very little space of the image;

Curiosamente esta sua última foto tem alguns pontos em comum com a minha, uma vez que assenta na beleza e no fascínio que o céu fantástico que registou transmite à graciosidade natural do Pico. A luminosidade que transparece por este céu "esfarrapado" cria uma atmosfera interessantíssima, bem como o pormenor da núvem abraçando a montanha. Mais um regalo para os olhos... Abraço!

Congratulations on your 1-year anniversary, Fernando - we have seen a lot of nice scenic impressions from your home country, and I am looking forward to many more of them. This is a nice natural impression in which appropriate attention (perhaps even a little bit too much of it) is given to the layered clouds towering above the island. Nice shot that is pretty much made up of only blue and white.

Superb !
The Volcanic Island and also the note.
Very well balanced this gives a COMPLETE view of a mountain in the sea ( an Island of course ). Recently you are choosing to have greatly sized sky and I thing this style goes well with the maritime nature when the main object is as far as this one in the picture.

Wow the blue. The compo is interesting..that sky dominates so much the entire photo. Good thing its an interesting sky though.

Mais uma vez, apresentas-nos o namoro e enlace das nuvens com o Pico, as nuvens ajudaram bastante estão quase alinhadas e estratificadas à espera da sua vez para "namorar" o Pico. Bom alinhamento e nivelamento, o azul do céu a despontar entre as em gradientes diferentes.

Pour votre anniversaire sur TE, c'est l'apothéose, pas moins de trois photographies publiées dont deux en atelier, et les trois sont une réussite : miracle de la nature dites-vous, et c'est très vrai, c'est tout simplement magnifique.
