Simple composition brings the message in...
Can you elaborate in your note about what this wall is?

This is a simple but efficient composition. Although, I'd like to see what's on the top of the stick the pilgrim is carrying. I assume it is a cross, I think if it was within the frame it would have emphasize the mystic of the picture.
As for those who require more information about the site, a little search with Google give me this link; the official site of Fatima's Sanctuary. Not even a 10 second search. :-)

Eu gosto desta fotografia. Eu conheci as tradições de Fatima e os elementos desta fotografia, mas sei que ha gente não a compreenderão. Eu gosto particularmente da sombra do cirio. Uma fotografia simples mas cheia de emocao.

Very fine, simple and clean shot. The placing of the woman in the frame absolutely right. Well done!

As a not-christian, I find Fátima's sanctuary as a fenomenon... All the crowds it attracts is amazing. The photograph is just wonderful in terms of composition and colors.
To Green: I believe that is not a stick with a cross on it's tip, but rather a very large candle, probably with the height of the lady carrying it, a religious tradition of Fátima.
