Obidos is a hill town with pretty whitewashed houses enclosed within 14th century castellated walls. Obidos used to be an important port but by the 16th century the river had silted up. Nowadays, the town is very popular among tourists who can walk along narrow streets or on the castellated walls.

Hi Tomasz,
You have a friendly and nice Portuguese posts at TE in your Portfolio. This possible is one of your best and also in a great littke town that I like very much and is a world reference. Excelent your point of view in a brighty and not blue sky day, but splendid and very well taken. I have a few of Obidos in my first posts but all from upper roofs and lanes with my first digitak camera and 4 months to post at TE.
Very good and natural picture of weather and also atmosphere of this nice place.
Very well done and my congratulations for this contribution and share. Have a nice weekend and I see or see me also.
Fernando
