Photographer’s Note
Summer in Portugal, Page 8
This picture shows the panorama of Porto.
I took it from Vila Nova de Gaia, which on the other bank of Douro river.
On the picture you can see Ponte de Dom Luis I (i.e. a famous bridge), Torre dos Clerigos, Se and most other famous buildings of Porto.
Vila Nova de Gaia is an interesting place on its own with many Port Lodges, which offer tours. You can see how Port is made and taste it.
The other pictures taken during the same trip are here

Page 2, Cabeca do Velho
Page 3, Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Page 4, Monastery of Batalha
Page 5, Jardim Agricola Tropical

Hi Tomasz,
I like your panorama a lot. The point of view and the composition are excellent. The city looks gorgeous with that ships on the foreground. I like the diagonal that the picture describes, pointing at the bridge.
Very well done!
Regards,
Javier

Great use of panorama format here. Interesting details all around the picture. Background, bridge and boats all in balance.
The large version has so much compression artefacts, that maybe a little smaller version would have looked better.

Bravo pour le montage. Le cadrage est plaisant avec le pont qui nous emmène vers la ville. Le piqué de l'image est très bon également. Du beau travail. Bravo.
