[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a part of historic Lisbon called Alfama, and it is tremendous. I simply loved it. It's people on the streets full of life, the colours of the houses, the winding streets. While I was walking around without any sense or goal I managed to stumble upon this very interesting corner. Well, I had to take a picture of it and bring you all a taste of this atmosphere. Of course, you will also probably wander why does a Portugese capital has such damaged houses. To be honest I do not know the answer, but with a little mess around no one has ever felt bored.

Hi Alan, this is not "baixa", it's one of the quarters in downtown but not "baixa" itself, this quarter is "Alfama" (see the banner) and it's one of most typical places in Lisbon, i'm glad you've been there... did you heard Fado there?
