I like so much to frame my pictures with leaf shapes. I just canīt help it... I did it again....

Thisīs a clasic picture of the National Palace of Sintra. A "must" on your visit to Lisbon.

About the palace:

This grand 15th Century palace was built for the Portuguese Court as a summer residence through several kingdoms.
It dominates the landscape of the town centre with its quite unusual chimneys, which became Sintra’s landmark, and the beautiful Manuelin windows.
It is considered the ex-libris of Sintra for its historic meaning as several interesting episodes of Portuguese monarchy happened here.

Me encanto la foto amigo.
Me hace recuerdo a los dibujos de los cuentos, me explico: El primer plano se aprecian los matorrales oscuros, eso da una sensacion de que uno esta mirando en ese instante, como en 3D, como si uno estuviese sacando la cabeza y apreciando la maravilla del lugar al otro lado.

Por otra parte el palacio no me parece que haya tenido buena angulacion de la toma de la foto. Talves otro angulo podria haber resaltado mejor el palacio.

Very nice dark frame on this bright image...makes me feel like we're spying on the wealthy.

I'm looking at this picture for 3 days... The black sharp frame of leaves and that soft, slightly out of focus palace - it makes feeling of seeing something unreal. Great!
