Photographer's Note

Casa de Serralves (translation from Portuguese: house Serralves) is a house located in the Parc de Serralves in Porto. The house contains in particular the Museum of Contemporary d'art Serralves.

The construction of the house was commissioned by the second Conde de Vizela, Carlos Alberto Cabral and designed by the architect José Marques da Silva in style 'liner'. The house is owned by the Serralves Foundation.

Finished in 1940, the Casa de Serralves is classified building public interest in 1996 because of its original architecture.
