Autumn, almost winter, enters now a stage which is less encouraging even for local trips. Ireland and now UK dominate my TE gallery so it is a good time to reach again into my archives to differentiate my uploads.
One of my best planned vacations which balanced well sightseeing and relax were in Portugal. Portugal is a perfect country for that. I spent one week visiting beautiful rich in history north and then a week on the beaches of Algarve. I tried to differentiate the beach-week as well. The main attraction in the south are beaches surrounded by famous photogenic orange cliffs which stretch both directions from Lagos. The area east from Faro does not have the orange cliffs anymore but it is abundant in sandy beaches. Tavira (in this photo) is one of the towns to visit there. It is mostly famous for Ilha de Tavira (Tavira Island) which is practically a large sandy beach. Tavira Island is just a few hundred metres off the mainland. It is 11 kilometres long and varies between 150 m to 1 km in width.

A very interesting note about the beautiful Algarve and a very fine photograph to complement it!
A very well planned shot looking across water with a lovely little fence making a fine foreground feature. The distant buildings are portrayed beautifully against a wonderfully blue and clear sky. The buildings themselves are lovely and nicely lit - in fact one of them looks remarkably like this one.
Gorgeous light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

Very beautiful horizontal scene. I like your idea with the iron fence in the foreground.
Enjoy a good day ahead.

beautiful the opposite side of the of place with the well presented houses to make the image so effective. I like the panoramic view with the brilliant light to enhance the vivid colours as the contrast of them.

a simple conceptual composition this but it works so beautifully. A real shot of layered elements but they all seem to come together so harmoniously. A creative and as always perfectly executed image. Quality imagery!

I like this very much, the selection of buildings looks to me as if they would if they were on display in a giant shop! A fine selection to choose from. The composition is really nice too, with the scene being broken nicely into thirds like this.
Thanks as always

Interesujaca kompozycja kadru.
Podoba mi sie balustrada i budynki w glebi.

Ciao e buona serata

Like always to read your informatives notes , better when you add some adventure that accurred to you while trying or taking the photo
Like the composition of your postcard well composed in layers, the one at the front, some water and the origianal colourful hiuses at the back, all the scene with the bright light of Portugal
I visited the Nord, where I have the pleasure to watch a group of woomen washing clothes at the side of a river
Look at my photos of Munich and were taken from the Town Tower as yours, not good ones

This has been squirreled away in your archives for quite a long time! I'm glad you found it for it is a pleasing reminder of warmer climes.
You have used horizontal layers to great advantage, for their mixture of textures and colours, and they lead deeper into the shot, like a series of steps.
Have a lovely day,

The railing in light-green tone made this picture, Mariusz, otherwise I'd say it is just another waterfront scenery.
Fine POV chosen, and view through with good clarity.
Typical architercture's details on the houses, which each of the facades are with diff. color.
Super fresh sharpness and contrast of colors.

Well taken with this fence in the Fg, well composed and well managed for colors and exposure, tfs.

Dobra prezentacja.

Very nice composition with this sequence of facades facing the water bed, it seems that at low tide.
The iron balustrade in the foreground gives a nice graphic to the image.
Nice sunny day, giving a beautiful range of colors.
A bright image with optimum clarity.
Well done. I Like
Enjoy a good weekend.

Witaj dear Mariusz
You make a good point in your note about the tension between sightseeing and relaxing. Ad with us amateur photographers there is also the tension between soaking up the moment and photographing it. I'm glad you achieved that balance, it's difficult. And with kids thrown into the mix, even harder. I like how you included the fence, the wrought iron is very beautiful and characteristic. The river and seaweed are delightful and I like the shimmering reflections. Beautiful shot of what was no doubt a beautiful place for you.

I see that you picture is taken in Portugal, the winter always very soft in Portugal not as in Poland.
I like the iron handrail in foreground through the nice decorative structure.
Colours and sharpness are perfect.
Very well composition, nice captured.
Well done, TFS.
Have a nice week,

The use of the iron fence is such a great idea as part of the picture and it works fine for it sets a totally diff mood. But the point of interest is beyond on the row of buildings which contrast beautifully with the deep blue sky. Clarity is subtle in vivid details, colour saturation is superb as is the composition and pov. Well done, TFS

Rzeka wydaje sie plytka, a mioze to akurat odplyw. Ciekawy ten ozdobny plotek.
Milego dnia M.
