Improvement works were carried out by architect under D. Manuel I reign.

bella composizione, i bei papaveri rossi contrastano splendidamente con queste antiche mura.

A brilliant and sharp picture of the tower and the defensive walls of this castle.
The flowers and specially the poppies add colour and make a nice foreground.
Best regards, Paul

I think the flowers are beautiful addition to this great view of the castle. Recalling the flower child putting flowers on the rifles of soldiers. Good pov and it has good dof with sharp details. Love the colors. Well done, tfs.

like this it has such a romantic feel about it. A glorious combination of elements, colours and warm tones that all come together so attractively. Superb imagery! Executed and presented beautifully.
Have a great week - Brian.

This view over the old castle reminded me a similar view of the fort in Belmonte.
Your POV with the red flower has given extra vivid tone.

Such a shot requires very careful framing! Those poppies are perfectly placed. Low angle gives strong appearance to that tower. Half cloudy sky is nice in the background.

Excelente nitidez e enquadramento. Ótima composição com as flores bem vermelhas contrastando com as cores mortas das rochas que formam o castelo. Bom trabalho, parabéns!

A good frame with this tower and these flowers to give details and colors in the Fg, well made, tfs.

your gallery has plenty of very good shots and today I decided to go for this one. It has very interesting POV with strong foreground - the wild flowers - which make this picture quite original. The colors are saturated and the light well managed. I like sharpness all over the picture.
Have a nice day
