"Almodovar" it's an Arabic word that means "round" and is also the name in several places in the Iberian peninsula.
Here a view from Almodovar, a village in Alentejo, south of Portugal.
I hope you like it.

Good morning Rui,
very nice the view as the presentation of this unique rural sample of architectural style in the village of Almodovar.I like the well chosen POV as we can see a lot of details and the beauty of this construction style of the houses.
Have a great Sunday,Danos

Ola Rui ,
These rustic houses with the old walls have for me a lot of charm . Excellent framing , perspective and exposure .

Seeing the title I admit the only "Almodovar" I knew is the film-director. So a bit of a surprise, but also a well taken view of an old village, need urget renovations, but with the economy in the dulldrums who can tell when the authrities would do this.
Nice allocation of picture sp[ace.

nice picture, the details and hues of the old stucco look wonderful. The lamp is a lovely touch here. Looks like you had a nice walk on a lovely day too:)

I don't know or we this can give the name village.
When this is a part of the village with the old houses and cobblestone street, maybe a good village for anno 1800.
Perspective and depth are excellent taken.
Excellent composition, colours and presentation are very well.
Nice done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,

Looks like those buildings has been around for a long time, except for the roof it looks like a very sturdy architecture. Good lighting and dof with sharp details. Well done, tfs.
