Ananil-VI, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

Just some of the houses in ruins that can be found near the Ananil watermill. This watermill was just one of several that could be found along the Almansor River, in a place that used to be considered as one of the most pleasant ones in the area. A few meters far, we can find the other houses in ruins and the WC, that I've already posted.

hi ana,
the light that is illuminating the walls of this ruined houses is wonderful. it has resulted in some lovely colours. excellent composition. the bare brickwork is very nice, along with the vivid yellow paintwork.

The light makes this very special bringing out the rich yellow colour on the crumbling walls. The dark sky is dramatic. An excellent composition - very well done.

I like a lot the atosphere of thsi anbandoned places . You've cature this old building by the better way . The light , the contrast with the grey sky , the warm colors , the framing ... all is excellent .

Astonishing warm cold color contrasts between the blue grey sky & the yellow trim on the façade of the ruined old building, along with the exposed red bricks. Excellent strong lighting contrasts with only minimal oe in the highlights. Tfs & Parabens!

qué fantástico juego de luz y sombras sobre esta vieja casa, y qué bonitos colores cálidos que has obtenido a pesar de las nubes de tormenta en un día gris.
El resultado es una imagen muy nítida, potente y agradable a la vista.

Je suis séduit par les fantastiques couleurs et lumières de cette prise de vue. Le soleil donne pile au bon endroit pour faire vibrer les couleurs chaudes.

Très belle image de cette maison en ruines !
La lumière est superbe avec cette éclaircie presque providentielle.
Quant au ciel gris ardoises, il contribue à donner de la beauté particulière à l'ensemble.
