Secluded inlet , near Ponta da Piedade, a photo from Algarve, South

Photographer's Note

A quelques centaines de mètres à l'ouest de la très visitée Ponta da Piedade , il est étonnant de découvrir cette crique isolée , endroit idyllique pour les amateurs de calme et de tranquillité . Beaucoup de gens l'observent d'en haut , mais très peu s'y rendent , ce que nous avons fait . Et on comprend pourquoi il y a si peu de monde : au départ , il faut trouver le sentier qui est assez abrupt , et dans les derniers mètres , il faut emprunter un semblant d'échelle brinquebalante , et s'accrocher à une corde à noeuds pour atteindre enfin la plage . Mais une fois là , quel bonheur !
Par contre , je suppose qu'en été , de nombreux bateaux viennent y débarquer .

Bonjour Denis - What a super POV, including the FG detail roots the viewer firmly above the inlet creating an immediacy in the shot. I love the saturated rocks and sand a perfect counterpoint to the moody colours of sea and sky. Beautiful image. Warm regards rosemary

Bonjour Denis,
Cet endroit idyllique vaut bien la peine de quelques efforts pour l'atteindre. Les arbres et la végétation de l'avant-plan sont une belle introduction à la découverte de l'image. Le paysage spectaculaire est bien cadré depuis un point de vue habilement choisi. La lumière, les couleurs, la netteté et la profondeur sont excellentes. Bravo.

une petite crique où il doit faire bon de passer quelques moment de détente, où l'on voit que l'eau monte pas mal, une vue en plongée excellente, des couleurs de roches aussi très belles

Tu l'auras mérité ta plage de Robinson! On se contente facilement de cette magnifique vue d'en haut avec, une fois de plus, une lumière divine. Cadrage splendide de ce magnifique endroit et couleurs de rêve. C'est magnifique!

Bonjour Denis,

Il n'y a pas à dire, j'aime beaucoup ces paysages de falaises ocres. Ici, la lumière est très belle et il y a un joli contraste avec le ciel menaçant.
Le format portrait est la bonne solution car cela permet de donner de la profondeur à l'image avec un premier plan intéressant.

Hello Denis,

A beautiful composition of a beautiful scene. Sometimes it would be considered wrong to have the top of the cliff on the right at exactly the same level as the horizon, but in this case it works perfectly!

The colours in the rocks, the beach, the sea and sky are all vibrant and wonderfully complementary and the details and sharpness are superb.

beautiful view, and I think I took a similar photo as well. I really enjoy following your reportage from Algarve, sometimes I scream "I have been there" sometimes "How could I miss it!". Excellent colors here from bottom to the top. Beautifully framed little beach. The dark clouds make a nice addition.
