Arraiolos is a Portuguese village, the seat of a municipality in the District of Évora, Alentejo region, being the typical landscape of the region, one of your biggest assets as well, which can be seen from the castle of the Village that offers us an extraordinary panorama over the whole of the surrounding nature and the beautiful white houses of the village.
Arraiolos is known for its traditional embroidery in wool rugs that will give consistency and resistance tapestry convenient and allows faithful reproduction of all geometric designs, this art that has begun with the Arab presence in the 12th century, and reached its maximum splendor with the floral motifs of the 18th century, and passing from generation to generation until current times.
