Photographer's Note
Azulejos are a form of Portuguese or Spanish painted, tin-glazed, ceramic tilework.
In Portugal, azulejos are found on the interior and exterior of churches, palaces, ordinary houses and train stations or subway stations. They are applied on walls, floors and ceilings. They were not only used as an ornamental art form, but also had a specific functional capacity like temperature control at homes.

Bonjour Ryszard,
A fabulous typical art of Portugal, taken under good light and result in fine clear image.
Hope you'll approve I added this to my "Azulejos" theme.
Best regards

Hi Ryszard
I really like these tiled frescos that you see in Portugal and Spain. The colours are so attractive and you have captured this one perfectly. Thanks for the informative notes, wish we had more things like this in the UK.
Regards - Brian.
