Boca Encumeada, a photo from Madeira, Islands

Photographer's Note

Le Boca (col) Encumeada , depuis un très beau point de vue situé au dessus de la Pousada dos Vinhaticos . C'est un point de passage très important puisqu'il relie les deux grandes vallées qui entaillent la partie centrale de l'île : la Ribeira de Serra de Agua au sud , et la Ribeira de Sao Vicente au nord . Depuis quelques années , un tunnel permet de se rendre plus rapidement du sud au nord .
A 1007 mètres d'altitude , on le repère de loin , car il est presque toujours encapuchonné de nuages . Ceux-ci , poussés par les vents de nord ou nord-est , s'accumulent sur les versants montagneux , mais réussissent à franchir le col , offrant parfois la vision d'une superbe cascade .

Bonjour Denis - Simply perfect! I love the blue Agapanthus (one of my favourite flowers) and here they just jump out of the frame with their startling colour. Your POV could not be better, the fabulous FG colour backed by the deep forest green and wonderfully detailed mountains and topped by the draped cloud in an otherwise clear blue sky. Les fleurs bleues à l'avant plan sont magnifiques et servent de parfaite entrée en la matière pour ce très beau paysage. Les nuages semblent faire l'amour aux montagnes.

Voila se qui ma déçue en Ariège, pratiquement très peu de fleurs, je pense que le temps y est pour beaucoup!!!
Magnifique paysage avec les fleurs en avant plan en contraste avec la couche épaisse des nuages blancs

tu nous offres encore une vision de rêve,où la beauté du paysage n'a d'égale que la beauté des couleurs.Les fleurs bleues sont dans une parfaite harmonie avec le ciel,et l'effet de relief est saisissant, comparable à celui d'une photo en 3D.C'est splendide!

Bonsoir Denis,

Très belle photo que tu nous ramènes de Madère, avec un décor montagneux et des pentes abruptes qui contrastent avec le premier plan bucolique. Les nuages qui enveloppent la ligne de crêtes apportent un plus à la composition... sauf pour d'éventuels randonneurs qui s'y trouveraient en plein milieu !

Vraiment génial!

Comme un ruban vaporeux, tu as capturé ce nuage qui s'étire d'un sommet à l'autre, dans un contexte on ne peut plus enchanteur. Les fleurs en premier plan apportent une touche estivale et brise la régularité de la végétation dominante.
