Nazare rock and swell, a photo from Coimbra, North

Photographer's Note

Nazare' was a fishermen's village that evolved to a resort town .
On it's north side there is a huge cliff like a natural wall ( I'll post more photos with a wider view of this cliff) – and here is the tip of it as it is "falling" to sea.
This picture was taken with a zoom extract , as the swell heat.
On the WS attached , there is: 1) A view of the swell taken from the cliff's highr ground.
2) A picture of the ridge's cliif .

The capture of the power of the sea is an asset to the composition. The point of is showing the details and colors of the rocks and of the sea. the late afternoon light is enhancing the colors. have a nice day.

A composition that clearly demonstrates the power of the sea. Captured at just the right moment as the waves crash against the rock. I like the turquoise tones of the sea and the contrast they make with the pale blue sky.

perfect timing to capture these waves crashing the big rock producing a smoke like effect. The turquoise colored water makes a nice contrast with the pale blue sky. The sharpness and lighting are perfect.
