Photographer’s Note

Once more a image of the amazing rotsformations that you can see at the coast of Peniche. This one is a favourite place for marinebirds. If you look well you can see alot of them sitting on the rocks. I just love how you can see the erosion work at this coast.

PS: From AMERICO I learnd that the name of this rock is 'NAU dos CORVOS' because it has the shape of the old Portuguese caravels.

Nice shot, I like coast, rocks and sea. That looks beautiful, and that boat on horizont compares with huge rock.

Very nice POV of the bird home surrounded by water from a bird eyes view. Excellent sharpness and texture of the rock, the distant sail boat give some perspective as well as a sense of scale. Good composition, beautiful and natural colors. Thanks.

Bonjour Kik.
Ce navire de pierre semble emporter tous ces oiseaux vers le large. On dirait qu'il est accompagné par de petites embarcations. Le voilier paraît bien léger à côté.

Olá Kiks, it's evident that this version is better although there's something harsh on the original that I like and it made me think of an alternative in black and white. Anyway, this NAU is really cool and it's nice to see the tiny modern NAU in the distance too. What a contrast between the fossil and the living one.

Hi Kik, I love this solitary-looking rock in the middle of the ocean. A home only to the birds. Your POV shows us how desolate and rugged the place is, kind of "edge of the world" to me. Great shot, TFS, Lisa.
