Sortelha es una parroquia portuguesa del concejo de Sabugal, con 43,27km² de superficie y 579 habitantes (2001). Densidad: 13,4hab/km².
Fue villa y sede de concejo entre 1288 y 1855.

Situada en lo alto de un monte a más de 760m de altitud, en una región muy accidentada de cariz granítico.

Sortelha es uma población decorada con rocas donde sus casas se apoyan y asientan.
Esta disposición de las casas expuestas al sol, explica el apodo de “lagartixos” dado a sus habitantes.
El pueblo está rodeado por un círculo de murallas.

Sortelha es uma aldea entera en granito, con calles y callejones tipicamente medievales.

Sortelha es, sin duda, una de las más hermosas y bien conservadas aldeas históricas de la Beira Interior.

Situated on top of a hill over 760m high, in a very rugged face of granite.

Sortelha is a rock where people decorated their homes with support and settle.
This provision of the houses in the sun, explained the nickname "Lagartixa" given to its inhabitants.
The village is surrounded by a circle of walls.

Sortelha is a whole village in granite, with typically medieval streets and alleys.

Sortelha is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and well preserved historic villages of Beira Interior.
