Le Mosteiro dos Jerónimos est situé à l'ouest de Lisbonne, dans le quartier de Belém.
Cet ensemble, avec l'église Santa Maria, est un célèbre chef d'œuvre de l'architecture Manuéline.

Il fut construit entre 1496 et 1572, grâce à la vente des épices et aux richesses rapportées, à la suite des expéditions de Vasco de Gama, dans le Nouveau Monde.

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos is located in the West of Lisbon, in the district of Belem.
This unit, with Santa Maria church, is a famous masterpiece of Manueline architecture.

It was built between 1496 and 1572, with funds coming from spices sale, following Vasco de Gama trips to the New World.

You were truly lucky as that fountain is most of the time shut down. At least when I am in Portugal!!!
It is a wonderful shot of this magic monument, the most beautiful in Lisbon. Congratulations.

The "Mosteiro" is very beautiful (specially when you get real close to it and notice all the architectural details)! In your picture, we can see it a bit far away, but the composition is very good, with this fountain in the fg and the spectacular sky above! Colors and lights - style JBR - are really attractive too! Another great photo job!

bonjour jb,
la lumiere de fin de journée( je suppose) qui tombe sur le fontaine, lui donne un éclat particulier, l'architecture en toile de fond decrit bien le patrimoine de cette ville.

Bonjour Jean-Bernard,
une photo aux lumières chaudes et un post processing peut-être un peu plus discret que les précédentes compositions. Beaucoup de choses ressortent très bien ici comme notamment, ces nuages dans le ciel.

Hello Jean Bernard,

Very nice light you have captured here! But I might have given it a bit more space either at the bottom (to catch the light on the stones) or at the top (to get more gradual blue). Right now it feels very centered - well, it is very centered :-).
