Pena Park
- SWAN POND -
This shady park, covering an area of some two hundred hectares round Pena Palace, was planted with trees thanks to the effort of Fernando II of Saxe Coburg-Gotha, in the third quarter of the 19th Century.
It is one of the most attractive places on the Serra de Sintra, owing to the spell of romanticism that emanates from its greenness and the wide stretches of countryside that can be glimpsed from it. The way that the trees have been arranged in contrasting clusters, setting off to advantage the delicate note of the gardens, the graceful curve of a path, or the sudden view of a pond, all show the artistic intent that governed the planting of this park.

Great colours and very good details and quality, I think that the composition is a little bit problematic, because there is no connection between the swan and the fortress, it is like you have two pictures in one.

Probably a bit overexposed, but it's certainly a very nice scene, the swan sets the composition very well.

Hello, i have taken quite the same picture with that tower and a swan ( the same ?) , but i prefer yours even if i think that there is a bit too much light.
I like the atmosphere of this place that you renders well.

Excelente imagem que se enquadra muito bem dentro do romantismo reconhecido de Sintra. O posicionamento do cisne é excelente bem como a suavidade da luz.
