Photographer’s Note

Image took from the top of the Elevador de Santa Justa at the sunset time.
The elevator was designed by a student of Gustav Eiffel, Raoul Mesnier
de Ponsard. It was put in service for the first time in 1902. There is
one of the must beautiful view on Lisbon.

Good PoV and interesting view, the could be sharper, but I find that sometimes they just work out that way. The main quibble I have with this is that I think a panorama format would suit it so much better. The large sky here doesn't seem to me to contribute much. I'll try a WS

I remembered this point of view. I love it as you could much of the beautiful Lisboa along with the sea.
I could see you added a little bit of the old Lisboa in theleft side. That's great.

The photo misses some sharpness, it's a pity that we could not see more details of the shaded area.

Hi Paolo,

I sort of agree with the first critique. A longer photo in a panorama format would balance out that sky. I think its too topheavy in this case, we need more of a base. The colors are great and the sharpness is a bit lacking, though thats not much of a problem. The view is fantastic though. A bit dark in the lower region.

Lovely view looking over Lisbon. I agree there may be too much sky, but I think the Ws has cropped too much. Somewhere between the two would be just right.

E che bella Lisbona! Io l'avrei fatta anche più panoramica: visto che hai tagliato in basso (scommetto che la luce sotto era troppo poca) taglierei sopra anche un po' di cielo.
...insicto, ti invidio davvero, nonostante tutto lo smog di Milano...! ;D))

This shows the usually beautiful light of Lisboa. That's interesting that you included the fado.
I think the black frame is too big.
