Photographer’s Note

This the old parish church of Amora. In front of it there is the Overcrowded Cemetery.
This is a typical village church in Catholic Portugal. Its full name is Igreja Paroquial de Nossa Senhora do Monte Sião de Amora. Nowadays that Amora is a suburban city, they built a new church (Igreja Beato João Baptista Scalabrini), which is very much different.
This is another Sunday Papagolfade.
Location in WikiMapia: 38.6283016, -9.1188723.
If you wonder what's the metallic rod on the tower, see for what it is needed in workshop.
A velha Igreja Paroquial de Nossa Senhora do Monte Sião de Amora. Muito diferente da nova Igreja Beato João Baptista Scalabrini.
