Hi TE friends

Today is Sunday and I'm showing you a new Church. In this case we can see the ensemble called the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua, implanted in the extremity of the Cape Espichel

In this case is a The Church of Nossa Senhora do Cabo is located in Cape Espichel municipality of Sesimbra, parish of Castelo, Distrito de Setúbal. Built in the eighteenth century is back to the sea.

Inside the church, we stress the illusionistic ceiling painting outlook painted by Lorenzo da Cunha, in order of D. John V in 1740, which remains the only work of this artist in this whole country.

In the main chapel of the temple - which includes ten altars offered by the "candles" or pilgrimage to Lisbon, Almada, Palmela, Sesimbra, Setúbal, Caparica, Azeitão Arrentela / Amora.

Along with the buildings of Hostels for the pilgrims, a Water House and its Aqueduct, an opera house and the Memory Chapel - built on the cliffs of the headland, the site where the image would have been found - the Church of Our Lady Cape Town is part of the Shrine of Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua

Olà Aires,

POV very well selected for this image with an incredible prospect effect. The large FG give a greta depht to the image and learn the glance to the church in the BG. The cruise and its shade give avery graphic effect in the FG.

What a nice depth, you chose a very well angle this care for excellent perspective.

Hello Aires,

This place is really astonishing just like this superb perspective on this church where this cross with foreground gives much depth to the image. I have the impression, by seeing the man with the dog on the left, that the sun was rather strong and you controlled this factor of luminosity well. I allowed myself a WS but as my quota is full for today I will propose it tomorrow to you… Thank you for your interesting note too.

Hello Aires,

A very interesting scene with the lengthy two story buildings leading up to the church!
Point of view is well chosen, placing the cross ell in the frame...

Ola dear Aires, again the perspective here is quite spectacular. I like the landscape format and wide-angle lens you have used to illustrate this. un encuadre escogido cuidadosamente, para dar una impresionante perspectiva de los edificios anexos a la iglesia, cuyos arcos crean un fantástico efecto geométrico en la composición.
Me gusta ver la cruz un poco descentrada para no tapar la vista de la iglesia al fondo de la imagen.
Tremenda profundidad de imagen, buena luz y bonitas sombras, en un trabajo realizado impecablemente.

Já vi outras fotos desse lugar e sempre me parece ser um local que adoraria visitar, passar alguns bons momentos por aí a observar esses detalhes arquitetônicos e aproveitando a sua calma e tranquilidade também!
Talvez um pouco clara, mas nada que afete muito a minha apreciação pela foto que tem nitidez, cores, ponto de vista escolhido, formato horizontal & retangular, profundidade e composição ótimos!
