Hi dear TE friends

This is a small beach in the Cape Espichel. You can see in the WS another view of Cape Espichel with the light house.

There are 4 persons in the beach !

Cabo Espichel is a cape located near Sesimbra, Portugal. Tourists are drawn there due to breathtaking views of its cliffs facing the Atlantic Ocean.
The location is famous for the a sanctuary complex (lit. Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Cabo Espichel), built extremely close to the edge of the tall cliffs, and still in use after more than 700 years.
Also famous, are the several dinosaur fossil trackways exposed in some of the now tilted Jurassic strata which form the cape's cliffs. It is said that local superstition interpreted the trackways as the path taken by the Holy Virgin ("Nossa Senhora") when riding a giant mule from the ocean and up the cliffs, which led to the eventual construction of the convent at that location. Hello Aires,

today we are side by side in the gallery!
I'm intrigued by coastal views and I know that Portugal has interesting coasts to show. Like this one you posted, where we can appreciate the textures and the beautiful colours of the cliff and sea. Very imposing also the photo in the ws, perhaps I should have set it as the main photo.

Un joli cliché maritime avec une bonne prise qui permet de découvrir la côte au loin. Je trouve que celà ressemble beaucoup à certains reliefs de la Bretagne.

This is an outstanding view with excellent composition and POV. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The curving shoreline leads the eye into the shot nicely giving the photo a nice sense of direction.

Thanks to your high POV we can also see there is another bay beyond this one. I love how the cliffs curve into the frame and the hint of reflections from the well lit rock face. The WS is also good and could have made a main post. I looked and looked but can't find the 4 people. :D

Wow, very interesting formation of the rock cliff! Really amazing to see the water action of the sea waves to make a bay of the coastline here. Very well captured composition of this view.

Já estive nessa mesma praia a fazer um estudo geológico das falésias e à procura de fósseis. Gosto das cores saturadas que aqui nos mostras.

Bonjour Aires,
un enfoncement des terres dans la mer, il se découpe bien et ses magnifiques couleurs laissent apparaitre toute la géologie, l'histoire de cette formation, ses strates obliques parlent.
De belles et bonnes lumières, pas trop fortes.

une vue légérement aérienne qui nous donne une belle vision de cette cote du portugal qui au premier abord m'avais fait croire a des cotes bretonnes, un joli dégradé dans les teintes entre le ciel et l'eau
