After the storm Photo

Photographer’s Note

Photo taken one week ago, after lunch.
Strange how the weather changed so much within 2 or 3 hours, from sunshine, to rain and after a big storm and some minutes after this calm went down near the bay.
Of course this was a temporary calm which went over only one hour later with another storm falling down over Seixal (and almost my head :) as I was arriving home.
Once again this filtered light created a special atmosphere like a dream, or a fairy tale, and of course PS just enhanced it a bit....

wow, que imagem incrível de facto, Paulo. Os tons cinza a encher a imagem estão fantásticos e este barco mais parece estar a flutuar acima da água. É verdadeiramente surpreendente como aquele azul e amarelo brilham tanto nestas condições atmosféricas. Estás mesmo um mestre de photoshop. É verdade que penso muitas vezes que estamos a viver nos trópicos...tens aqui uma foto lindíssima. Parabéns.

A delightful view, the strong blue boat looks wonderful and contrasts very well with gey/green of the water, great depth , light and nicely framed.

Hello Paulo,

I like the composition with the diagonal pier, that is pointing to the where the light breaks through the sky..!
The deep colours add a special mood to this nice maritime scene, and I notice the sharp fine details in he boats...
Well composed presentation with varied light!

The saturation of the blue boat makes it an eye catcher. The diagonal of the pier creates depth. Like the dark mood, my friend, of the sky & the reflection in the bay waters. The composition is very well done & the colours outstanding. Well done!
