Photographer’s Note

Finally I could get a 'decent access' to TE and had time to do so, without having to spend 3 hours to access and open my account, I'm not being here so often but I can see that there are things that are not changing :)

Well, this is the continuation of the serie about that special light that seems to lighten up Portugal. Now a more close approach taking profit of the shadows on the wall to give a bit more of impact.
As the previous one, this one was taken at the street that borders Seixal's Bay.
To be more precise it was taken from the pier pointing to the street.

As this is a more and less wide theme I will include in the series not only Seixal photos but others I have been taking in Lisbon neighbourhoods and others.

Olá Paulo,

partilho o mesmo sentimento, não tem sido nada fácil aceder ao TE.

Quanto à foto a luz proporciona umas cores quentes e as sombra enriquecem a composição.

belle suite à ta série "lumière portugaise". Les couleurs sont chaudes. j'aime bien l'ombre du personnage et celle du lampadaire sur la droite; Joli jeu de lumière.

Bonjour Paulo,
couleurs bien réchaufées d'un soleil bas, des ombres longues en témoignent. C'est aussi une photo qui en est rendue douce et reposante.
Cette impression de calme dont souvent nous avons besoin.

Fabulosa, Paulo. Quando vejo este tipo de luz em fotografia, apetece-me logo ir par a rua ;-) E como eu gosto também, a presença de um único personagem e a sua sombra que ainda é mais importante do que ele. Mas há muito mais aqui. Uma quantidade de pormenores interessantes para descobrir naquela fachada rica em formas. Gosto muito do detalhe da sombra do candeeiro a aparecer do lado direito. Muito boa.

a 'decent access' to TE...
what we have all been willing for weeks...
and the final result is much appealing, that wonderful Portugese light and shades in a single frame... the shades fullfill this nice composition full of delicate 2D details.

Well managed exterior lighting with excellent shadow from the the man and lamppost, wonderful light too; i would have cut the bottom.

Jolie luminosité sur cette façade qui lui donne une teinte plaisante et chaude, et excellent effet avec cette présence humaine et cette ombre sur le mur, bien vu et pris.

Hello Paulo,

The fine light gives a warm glow to the scene!
Hard to tell if this is morning or evening but I have a feeling the latter is correct...
The angle of light makes the texture of the wall stand out, and the shadows add impact!

Yes, the same delicious light, augmented by the fact that the facade is of cream colour. Nice graphic elements on the facade, the semicircular windows, the arched doors. But once again I wish you were able to capture the complete shadow on the right. Capturing the man with his distant shadow was a big plus. Good work my friend! But I do wonder about cropping the lower part of the image...do you think it is contributing anything extra to this picture? You're the photographer here & I'm sure you might have some reason in keeping it.

éste es un buen ejercicio jugando con una gran luz y unas fantásticas sombras. Me gusta mucho el gran efecto gráfico que eso produce en la foto, y los colores cálidos resultantes.
Es una foto muy bonita, con una realización excelente.

PS: todos hemos sufrido muchos problemas para acceder o para publicar fotos o comentarios debido a la lentitud o a los fallos del servidor de TE.

Sem duvida a luz deu ás cores calor português ,a sombra do homem ficou fantástica , gostei muito dos detalhes artísticos da parede .
Também tenho tido muitas dificuldades para entrar no Te ando com as criticas atrasadas , parabéns!!

This is a very beautifull picture for the light and the nice yellow color. You have a lot of informations in this picture and you could improve the graphisme with an other cropping.
