Photographer’s Note

Finally the wait is almost over...
But still the pier is souless...
And the weather grey and dull...
I went to the inner part of the ferry station...
And finally I could saw 4 or 5 souls waiting there...
Strange city Seixal one day overcrowded the other like a ghost city with very few souls...
Destination? Lisboa, Cais do Sodré boat and train station...

i like your new series paulo, and this is the best one so far i think... reminds me of the time running so fast and that i am getting old :S...

(be careful what you say about the angel in our shots, she is deniz's girlfriend! >:P...)

Bonjour Paulo,
un autre cadrage qui a un autre impact, je lui préférais le premier même si celui-ci dévoile un bateau à l'arrière plan, un détail supplémentaire.
Il ne faisait pas des meilleurs pour les lumi!res.

Gosto do fundo desfocado, onde está um dos elementos principais desta foto: o barco. Embora o tempo seja o "assunto", ... um trabalho muito bem conseguido na minha opinião.

It was 11:02 in the previous photo, now it has been five minutes later.

The people whom we've been waiting for, are finally coming.
As in most of the photos series, this one gains its meaning and story together with the previous ones. Maybe in five minutes, we'll see a lively crowd, and maybe, faces and faces...

Estou a ver, Paulo...isto agora é todos os dias. Fixe:) Gostei desta sequência. E esta talvez cative mais pela presença do barco e aquele zig-zag da areia. Com algum esforço ainda se consegue ver uns sinais de cidade perdida na neblina. O relógio já não tem tanta presença (embora ainda mande nisto), colocando-se de lado para o barco passar. A seguir, advinho um barco em 1º plano...

Olá Paulo,
interesante serie sobre el ferry. Aquí nos ofreces una composición muy elegante y con mucho grafismo, al cotrastar el reloj bien definido en el primer plano con el ferry en un fondo difuminado, en una imagen con fuerte sensación de 3D.
Gran trabajo, amigo mío, me gusta.

Both of the pictures with this clock are beautiful, but I prefer this one, that also shows the boat in the background and perhaps the reason why this clock is there! Excellent composition and framing, perfect focus and "shallow" depth of field, great light managment! Congratulaitons!

Ficou muito interessante com o barco de fundo desfocado com areia , gostei muito dos tons de cor velhos , a lâmpada vermelha ficou muito bonita no topo da foto , parabéns!!!

I love photos with limited depth of field how this one. the clock is much development and this boat gives a beautiful appearance of depth.
