Strongly marked by its connection to the River Tagus, the county of Seixal suffered a rapid development and growing urbanization over the last decades which have altered its traditional character.

Located on the Setúbal Peninsula, the natural shelter offered by the Seixal Bay made it become a centre of naval construction from the age of the Discoveries, an activity recalled at the Naval Nucleus of Arrentela, where visitors may admire several traditional boats of the River Tagus and watch models being made by craftsmen at the workshop, or at sites such as the 15th-century Quinta da Fidalga, an estate which is said to have belonged to the brother of the explorer Vasco da Gama, who came here to follow the construction of caravels.

Splendid photo of the town from an excellent POV! Good composition and the appealing and natural colours throughout the photo are great. Good inclusion of the little harbour in front of the town and the diagonal created by the path in the right foreground works great too. Very well done!

Aires,
Your composition is great using the walkway and shoreline to lead the eye into the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The colorful building in the background attracts the eye and adds great color and contrast to the shot.

Seems you had a nice mini TE emeting, always nice to meet other members, hope you had a great day.
Your photo is build up with a nice curve which leads our eye to the far background. Light is not spectacular, but the colours are...very nice.

Beautiful photo of the bay, very nice little town with beautiful red roofs. Nice composition, lazy atmosphere. Good colours and sharpness. But with great interest I look at your pictures from the meeting. Interesting to see how the TE-members look like. I see you had a great fun. Ands so we had in our meeting the same day in Poznań. maybe we could organize an international meting some day?

Esta é sem duvida uma das vistas que mais gosto do Seixal com a Baía e a sua curva a enquadrar os barcos que calmamente repousam na agua.
As cores estão muito suaves e bonitas, gosto ainda desta extensão do lado direito a conferir profundidade à foto.

This is a nice place from what I see in your image. The sidewalk add a nice diagonal on the picture and create an interesting balance. The light is excellent as it give good colours and details. Olá Aires,
Belas cores e enquadramento. As faixas verde e amarelas da margem e do passeio em diagonal dão imensa profundidade e o barco está muito bem posicionado. É um tipo de paisagem urbana com que tenho muito dificuldade em "inspirar-me" para fotografar, mas vejo por esta que é mesmo problema meu.

Bela tomada de Seixal, as cores foram muito bem captadas nesta imagem. A composição com esta possante diagonal em profundidade é bastante efetiva visualmente.
