Seixal Moods VIII - 2 years on TE mood Photo

Photographer’s Note

Last photo for the moment around Seixal's moods.

The title I chose is related with the 2nd year among TE's big family.
The 2nd year's door closes today but tomorrow a big window will open again, TE's window on my screen, and again the oportunity to share with all of you my photos, but most of all my passion for photography.

During this last year I wasn't so active as I was on the first one, too much work, some indecision at the time of posting, maybe I was a bit tired too, but the fact is that this hobby or passion as you want makes me want to still go on with all of you, sharing writing commments / critiques, some days just watching your work without saying nothing, just enjoying...

During this year some very good photographers left TE, some were disapointed with the way the site was evoluating, some had too much work and had to leave something behind, some chose other sites, and finally some others just left without saying anything, I never thought of leaving just have to change the pace and post less frequently.

Your critiques as always made wanted to go on, and as always Teresa was my personnal critiquer at home, don't post this one post that one, it's easier to have a pro giving my advices so my thank you for her, although I know that she will probably thank me only next month, or not, who knows...:)

Finally, I want to dedicate this photo to all of those who took the time to leave me a critique, an advice, a comment.

My big thank you to you all, see you in 1 year with the third milestone....

To those who might not know this photo was taken at the central square of Seixal, and if you want to know more about it watch TVI you will see some points of it.
Yes, it's true I leave in the desert as some dummy minister told, but some 'fool' had the 'foolish idea' of choosing Seixal to shoot a novel around...

So this photo is also dedicated to this minister....

me gustaría ser el primero en felicitarte por tus dos años compartiendo nuestra pasión en este buen sitio de TE.
Bella foto, en tu estilo personal que nos ofrece como siempre unas texturas y unos colores muy especiales y agradables, y un tratamiento de la luz magnífico. Son fotos que se identifican con su autor ya en la miniatura.
El encuadre es magnífico, y la calidad de imagen es muy alta.
Un gran trabajo, amigo mío.

Hello Paulo,
With this one, you found back the light and colors as you know how to do it.
I read your note carefuly and completely understand what you mean. Yes I think that you have to find your own rythm on TE. We are all disapointed at one stage but, as I told to another member a few days ago, TE has 2 components. One is only concerning pictures quality, the other one is about participating in the life of the community. And the right mix of both is not always evident to find ;-)
Anyway, I can tell you I appreciated both sides of your work for quite a long time now and I am always happy to comment on your work and receive critiques from you.
So thank you for all your work and I wish you to find success in all your new experiments.

Hello Paulo

I've just celebrated my 100th post, after 7 months on TE and I don't know how long I will enjoy the site, but I hope I will still go on as long as you, to reach your experience, and your level. You're gallery is filled of marvelous colorful pictures, like wonderful paintings.
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, your talent and I sincerely hope that you'll keep on posting your great work.

My congratulations for the two years in TE!I think your note tell us the story so nice,so real,the way that you be in photography.I enjoy your photos from the very first time as I were a member of TE about two year also.I admire your rythm and the own style.I can tell,this is Paulo's work and always stay for a look...

Interesting capture of this beautiful place with this strange thing in the centre... it looks like...hmmm;) I prefer not to write.

Ahhahaha, dedicada ao ministro? Tens que lhe enviar o link :)) Bom dia Paulo, e parabéns pelo segundo aniversário. Os teus 224 posts indicam o quanto foste mais activo há algum tempo atrás, mas o importante é não desistires e continuares a participar ao ritmo que te der jeito. As cores desta estão incrivelmente atraentes, embora questione mais uma vez se não exageraste na sua saturação. Seja como for, o teu trabalho de post processing é surprendente mais uma vez e consigo estar a olhar para isto um tempão, a apreciar aquele céu, a cor do chão em volta do quiosque...Imagino que tivesses problemas na compressão com tanto detalhe, mas a verdade é que não reduziste a imagem, portanto percebes mesmo de PhotoShop. :))
Para a próxima fazemos um encontro no Seixal para não poderem escapar ;-)

Antes de mais parabens pelo aniversário. Esta praca do Seixal tem detalhes muito interessantes. Tive a oportunidade de observar no local. Mas esta foto é magnifica pela diversidade de cores que conseguiste com um ceu bem azul.

This day is the first day of your remaining TE life Paulo, so behave! :))
Good to read your sincere note, about the leavers and less frequenters. Well, sometimes TE life does not go along with the real life, and of course one day we will all have to leave this nice site, this reason or that. Therefore all the best thing is what you get from here: some friends and some photographic skills. So why not participate and leave after feeling that you are satisfied or unable to do the TE bussiness any more? I just respect the leavers and less frequenters. Just may it not be the "disappointment" or "jealousy" issues that force our fellow photographers to leave us....Well, i said too much....

A great colorful photo to celebrate your 2nd TE birthday my friend. The composition and light are great. Maybe lacks some human touch, but this is my point of thinking. Maybe you wanted to show it abandoned, like sometimes TE is :))

I check very few notes here on TE but yours really worth it. I can feel almost the same in several parts of it, the pace, the evolution of this site, the loss of some members, our willing to stay here and keep posting, keep exchanging POV and way to see life. It will be a pleasure to check your third year pictures, i too enter my third year here on TE :)
