Seixal Moods V - Winter in wide angle Photo

Photographer’s Note

Back with a fresh photo in all senses, fresh because it's cold out in Seixal and because it has been taken less than one hour ago at Seixal Bay.

"Strange mood today with the streets almost empty, cold temperature, no wind at all, and this nice light, well let's take the camera out and let's check what's the result". Well, here it is!

It's up to you to tell me if it was worth take the camera out of the bag.

Maybe the last photo before I retire for one week in Porto, if it is see ya in one week then.

très belle luminosité dans cette photo. L'atmosphère tranquille me plait beaucoup. J'aime bien les barques sur la droite qui apportent de la couleur. Bravo.

Hello Paulo,
I like the composition of this wide angle shot, although a little bit tilted. The colors of the boats and the red carpet contrast with the grey mood but I am estonished to see such a quiet image from you. I think I would have enhanced the colors a bit ?

E fizeste muito bem, pois está muito bonita, Paulo. Quase sinto o fresco a bater-me na cara, apesar da ausência de vento. Não me batas outra vez, mas acho o teu pp outra vez espectacular - a imagem está limpíssima e com os contrastes no ponto. Atmosfera de inverno, sem dúvida e com uma luz fantástica (aqui em Paço de Arcos não está assim!). E agora deixa-me voar por aqui afora como se fosse uma gaivota...

Olá Paulo,
llevar la cámara encima permite captar momentos especiales como éste, con una luz y unos colores fríos pero magníficos.
El ambiente frío y desapacible se puede notar perfectamente en esta toma, además, me gusta el encuadre y el ángulo tan abierto, con las barcas en primer plano, el agua de color gris plomo y un poco de cielo.

Bonjour Paulo,
j'aime beaucoup moins cette photo car si elle est d'une grande qualité technique, elle montre par contre des choses pas des mieux entretenues, un peu délabrées.
Mais un des buts de TE, c'est de montrer le monde tel qu'il est, dans lequel on évolue sans toujours l'embellir ou cadrer pour faire disparaitre des choses moins gracieuses.
Une photo un peu triste je trouve.

As soon as i saw it (without reading the title of course) i was sure that this was a creative wide angle study.
Look at it! I can almost see your feet as well as the horizon. And there is a very interesting spherical morphology in the sea surface, and i like the random distribution of colorful boats in the greyness of the atmosphere. Very good share Paulo.

Há aqui uns barcos para diferentes bolsas! E o curioso é que os cais também são diferentes.

Eu relembro esta paisagem na unica vez que visitei o Seixal. O tempo nao estava nada agradavel nesse dia e ja era quase noite.
Esta imagem transmite calma e frio... Gosto em especial do angulo escolhido e dos reflexos.

Esta é sem dúvida uma perspectiva diferente da "nossa" Baía.
Gosto especialmente da luminosidade que conseguiste aqui e da forma como enquadraste este pequeno caís.
O contraste também está na perfeição.

Hmm, interesting as it is taken in Portugal. If it was in Poland, it wouldn`t be nothing special. Such a weather we have since many days, but also with rain and wind and cold obviously ;).

This is not a typical Veto_Law shot, the colours are a bit 'muted'. But I love how you composed this, with the pier as the ,lead-in right from the bottom along with the boats. The boats are evenly spread out in the water & the dark sky creates a sombre mood. Good work!

Hi Paulo. There’s never a bad day to take the camera out for a walk and a great photo like this is always a bonus. Well composed with a wonderful still atmosphere. Good colour too for such flat light. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
