Photographer’s Note
Continuing my serie about the moods of Seixal, this time a photo with the fog covering partially the city.
It was a very strange day with the city almost desert, few people wondering thru the streets but here only a small form at the end of the street breaking the loneliness.
Strange city this one with great contrasts between main and the backstreets.

Now...
That's something very different from everyday crap on TE...
Fresh look upon the old, classical theme ?
Absolutely beautifully presented, with all of that charm of the urban, European places stunningly preserved...
love it immensely

Hello Paulo,
I see after the vivid colors you came out with a black and white one!The mood is amazing, not only because the fog,it has a feeling from the past.A dreamy atmosphere...an abandoned bike...what else can I ask?I love this one...

Bonjour Paulo,
Excellent b&w.
Regards.
Daniel.

Very atmospheric shot Paulo. Great detail in the cobbles and that strangely meandering pavement. The black tree looks very surreal & is nicely balanced by the little bicycle. The B&W is really good (was it shot that way or converted later?). Warm regards, Roberto

You convertion/edition to BW is really great. It looks an old BW film photography. Composition is also nice, with a good point of view.

Hello Paulo,

Hello Paulo,
I love the mood of this one ! The b&w conversion is perfect and gives to the beautiful pavement a specific interest. The misty background at the end of the road enhances the mystery.
Strange mood for a strange city, well done !
Have a nice day.

Josep

Hi Paulo,
Looks like a movie scene from the 1940s. The mood shaped by the empty streets, fog and B&W is very special. Good work! Regards,

a timeless shot -ignoring the plastic chairs:)-, an amazing mood paulo... i like the threathening fog coming towards me, makes me wanna run away and hide somewhere, in a pub may be full of people having fun... the coble stones add a lot to the charm i think... a real good job, congrats...

ola paulo,
this is fantastic! i do love this unlimited emptyness coated with a fog...sleeping town, or rather scared to let its citizens to fleed the chilly streets...your b/w work is most appropriate here strongly enhancing the mood of emtyness...
well done, bravo...

Hi Paulo, the result is also excellent when you convert your amazing PP work in BW. There is so much micro contrasts, this is very pleasing for my eyes :)
And here you found a good composition, kind of desert, empty and cold, we could thought at first sight it's from romania or poland but no this is seixal, portugal.
Excellent

A photo that comes from the past, like the old good memories.
Of course there is something strange to the all situation, something a little bit scary like from a thriler film. But this is exactly that makes the composition more enchanting.
Very good the B/W presentation, suits perfect with the theme.
I like very much the little details which exist in the photo, like for example the abandoned bicycle.
Very good shot.
Congratulations.
