Photographer’s Note
Quiet morning, quite streets and suddenly like two quiet shadows appeared in front of my camera.
This lone man and his shadow reflected on the ground seemed to have guess my thoughts when I was about to take a photo at the street, as I was thinking "an interesting character is missing here" and bang!!! there he was. He's appearance was so sudden that I had only the time to settle the settings of the camera and shoot.
The second after he was gone of the street so I had no second chance, this is street shooting right? one chance if you miss you're out!

Hello Paulo!
Perfect composition with that old man walking down the narrow street. I like the light behind him, looks like following his way, hehe. Great catch!
Thanks

What a great shot. The backlighting really works well here since the shadow of the man takes such a prominent place within the picture. I really love how the old man stands out against the backdrop of the old architecture. He's also in a good spot (slightly off center, walking towards the far end of the picture).

Hi Paulo
the vertical cropping work very well here for the lane. The shadow of this old man is very nice on the pavement. Excellent picture

Hi Paulo,
for shure the presence of the man and his shadow were essential to the success of this picture. And also the one time shot gives a sense of instant capture. The contrast has been managed very well.

Bonjour Paulo,
Bets regards.

Greetings Paulo.
A very atmospheric photo of this tiny cobbled street with an elderly local making his way carefully along with walking stick and shopping bag. You have done a great job with the exposure to capture the bright light and shadowed detail so well. Stong perspective and great timing! Superb shot and good little note.
Regards,
Andrew

Perfeita, Paulo.

"His appearance was so sudden" that did make me laugh! What with his walking stick as well! "The second after he was gone" - now I'm starting to roll around on the floor, and my ribs are aching.
Joking aside Paulo, this is a charming shot, the quality & purity of the light is fantastic.

Ola Paulo!
Beautiful backlit photo, excellent daily life scene, great composition and framing, very interesting architectonic elements, but the most impressive is the light managment, also excellent timing to catch this old gentleman with one foot in the air! Congratulations!

Hello Paulo, despite being an immediate capture as you mentioned in your note, the result is quite succesful. I liked the view of the sunlight coming through the street lamp towards the cobble-stones which creates an amazing shadow of the old man on the road.
Best regards, Tolga

I like that you're posting regularly again! Good to see you in your earlier zest. This one's not a typical Vato_Law shot, but fine use of backlight here & positioning of the man stepping into light from the shadows. Like the light on the lampshades as well. Good work!

Acho linda esta foto, a composição é especial;
