Serra do Louro Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken in Serra do Louro, near Palmela, after some rain.
I use a Circ. Polarizer filter to reduce the reflex of the water in the folliage and I use a ND grad filter to reduce the luminosity.
I used a F/18 to give me a long DOP and mantain all in focus but the shutter speed was 1/4, a bit longer, so i had to use my tripod to avoid shakes.
Then I increased the contrast and saturation in PS.

Very nice shot, good composition and nice low pov, beautiful vivid colors and good contrast against the blue sky, excellent sharpness and superb depth of field, very nice textures and details in the foreground mus, well done.

The colours are strong, yet become well balanced in a country-mud-australian-like image. The low POV is indeed a big plus! And the well captured moment in the sky makes this image well composed, full of interesting elements to discover, bit by bit.
