Photographer’s Note
This was taken in Quinta do Anjo, near Palmela located approximately 40 Km south of Portugal's capital, Lisbon.
The nearby coast of the Arrábida natural park offers beautiful beaches and unspoilt nature. A colony of dolphins lives in the Sado River, and across the river from Setúbal lies the peninsula of Tróia.

I took this in Raw format, then i use the photoshop to increase the contrast using burn and dodge commands. I increase the saturation using the sponge tool.

Gosto de ver a placa degradada a anunciar o Parque da Arrábida. Acho-a muito portuguesa!
A foto em si, parece-me um pouco escura. penso que beneficiaria se tivesse mais luz na parte da terra.

I think the photo's quite close to perfection, since i understand really well the feeling of this place. Nevertheless, i do understand what Antonio meant and i to agree that, simply in terms of image, a more clear cut photo would be more viewable. Also, there seems to be a vigneting effect in the border areas.
Great capture,
Bruno

nice rich colors in this composition.....but overall i think its a bit dark, and a smaller aperture might help in this case as the blurred foreground doesnt really add to the photo
