Photographer’s Note
This picture was captured in the city of Barreiro.
I thought that in this day the sky was amazing, and then I saw this lonely tree and I decided to take a picture of it with this great sky as a background.
I use a polarizer filter to dramatize even more the effect of the clouds in the sky.

Very nice, clouds look great. Good composition with the dark tree in front, but horizont is falling form right to left, kind of get the feeling that everything will fall out of the picture on the left. But enough with technical stuff, I like it.

Good composition, nice clouds! But it is not a tree! It is an Agave flower!! ;o)))

Hello Teresa,
the vastness of the cloudy sky and the tree of against day give in very great dramatic effect, at this scene, reinforced well by postprocessing.
Very good use of the polarizer filter.
Nice composition, Armandino

Ola Teresa!
Beautiful monochrome image! I find the field of view is great and using a wide lens helped on this.
The sky with those clouds looks fantastic.
Best regards. un abrazo,
Carlos

Bonjour teresa!

This is a very nice photo! Sepia is a tricky instrument and does not always come out well, but here it looks were in touch. What I also suggest is to cut the lower put of the photo which contains the river and the opposite bank.

Hi Teresa, you nicely caught the peculiar tree, high to the dramatic busy sky. Vertical frame and monochrome, both suitable choices for the compo. Regards, Daniel

Hello my dear Teresa
Another one mysterious image. I like the loneliness of the thin tree against the cloudy sky. You have great artistic eye, unfortunatelly not everyone loves it ;).

Teresa, this is a very original image!
I imagine it is not easy to make sense out of a tree that stands as a flagpole..!
But I think you do well, most important of all you capture the mood and use the tree as part of the framing!
Pleasant!
