About 25 April Bridge:

The 25 de Abril Bridge (translation: 25th of April Bridge, in Portuguese: Ponte 25 de Abril, pron. IPA: ['põt(ɨ) 'vĩt(ɨ) 'sĩku dɨ ɐ'bɾiɫ]) is a suspension bridge connecting the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal, to the municipality of Almada on the left bank of the Tagus river. It was inaugurated on August 6, 1966 and a train platform was added in 1999. It is often compared to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, USA, due to their similarities and same construction company. With a total length of 2,277 m, it is the 19th largest suspension bridge in the world. The upper platform carries six car lanes, the lower platform two train tracks. Until 1974 the bridge was named Salazar Bridge.

Hi Paulo, is a good idea to locate those olive tnees in front of the bridge. I would prefer a better contrast between the sky and the clouds (darker blue sky and whiter clouds). The olive tree in the middle is narrowing your perspective. But as a whole is nice photo which represents this beautiful city. Regards, Tolga

acho bem interessante essas pontes de Lisboa, e fico impressionado com a quantidade, não sabia que haviam tantas assim. Gostei de ter colocado ela em segundo plano, com esse parque na frente.

Uma vista do Cristo Rei mais terra a terra isto é uma vista cá de baixo o que não deixa de ser interessante e bonita.A foto tem uma profundidade e está bem enquadrada.

Uma perspectiva muito diferente desta famosa ponte. Gosto da composição com as árvores em primeiro plano, e há também uma excelente luz e cores.

os velhos pontos de vista estão mesmo batidos, este aqui é novinho em folha, nunca o havia visto. belas as oliveiras no primeiro plano, as nuvens no céu e as torres da ponte sobressaindo. e o pior é que eu já devo ter passado por aqui umas vezes, tempos da velha câmera analógica..lindo este trabalho.

I loved the pov very much on the bridge which you had included the beautiful trees in the fg also the awesome clouds formation that makes a nice impact in the whole composition!

Hi Paulo,
excellent POV on this famous place with a fantastic management of the light and very pleasant colors. The atmosphere of the early summer is very nicely captured and one can even see that a fresh breeze is not only moving the beautiful clouds but also the leaves of the trees. My compliments!
