Our Lady of the Castle - II Photo

Photographer’s Note

The last photo I've posted is from the bell tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Castle, in Coruche. Today I'm posting a different perspective, so that you can have a better idea of how the church looks like. It's simple, original and very beautiful. To get into the church we must follow this way on the right.
This photo has been taken yesterday. It has rained too much, but then the sun came and I took this photo but it's still possible to see the dark clouds in the sky.

Hi Ana, this is a wodnerful picture you have. What makes this picture attractive is the great contrast between the background cloud and the brightness of the church. And the church itself is pretty in terms of its blue color. Yes I agree with you that posting a different look of the same place helps viewers to see the larger picture of the place. Hi Ana,
How pretty is this church. I really like the shadows on the walls, I had trouble working out where the step like shadow was coming from by the door but I can see it is the roof. Lovely, thanks for sharing.

Ola Ana,
It gives me the impression that it tils a bit to the right, but for the rest I like how this church structure stands out by the light against the pre-stormy background, the blue edges add to this impresison and this works even better.

Hi Ana,
Lovely contrasts in light on the white facade of the building.The backdrop of the stormy sky and the huge cross on the roof (what is that loadspeaker doing there?) is very dramatic.Very clear and sharp....lots of detail and texture.The colours are natural including the white..well done.

This is a nice, colourful, picture. The front part is surprising, as the stairs do not appear, and it gives the impression that the threshold is located on the same level as the cross, which remembers me of this famous perspective drawing in trompe-l-oeil style with a tower and stairs that go round.

Composição bem legal. A arquitetura da igreja mais ainda!
Achei interessante essa estrutura das vias de acesso em dois pavimentos, já essas lâmpadas que circulam a arquitetura dá um espetáculo a noite, mas descaracteriza a obra, deveria ser proibido sua utilização.

I like the view of the church here as well as liking the Portuguese architecture which is very distinctive when seen around the world. The dark clouds also help here.

This is an interesting little church in happy colours!
Good angle of incoming light adds depth to the architecture, which is captured with fine details...
Well composed presentation, good colours and a dramatic sky topping the scenery!

Olá Anabela,
the small but nice tower in white and blue against this grey sky is good captured. I like the bright foreground with some shadows against a bit dramatic skies.
