Photographer’s Note

Another photo from the walk I had thru the streets of Constancia.

Here one of Constancia's main squares. As you can see life slowly goes by, few people at the streets, only having a small chat at the esplanade.

Nevertheless, Constancia has a very appealing atmosphere and charm, a true pleasure to take a walk thru the narrow streets, watching all the details of its white and yellow painted houses.

Also interesting is to climb the hill all the way up and have a look of at the town with Tagus river flowing at its 'feet'.

beaucoup de caractère dans les couleurs fortes de cette photo, les lumières sont vraiment bien domptées, ne laissant aucune chance aux ombres de nous cacher quoi que ce soit.
Joli ciel pour une atmosphère paisible.

Hi Paulo, of course i'm enjoying this picture, i imagine myself there on this place, spending a whole afternoon on a chair watching peole walking with tranquility around those streets and enjoying life ... reading a newspaper or a book and having some sun rays, yes for sure it would be a great afternoon. Thanks for the moment of traveling :)

Your composition is nice here showing this nice square with it's monument placed to one side. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The areas of sun and shadow create nice contrast through out the shot.

What a great place. The village seems to be so peaceful. I think it's a marvelous place where spend holidays.
The light is very well managed, and gives some beautiful warm colors.

Bom dia Paulo, espero ver essa vista do cimo da colina no teu próximo post :) A calma que se respira aqui é muito agradável e a luz está fantástica. Apesar de ter bons contrastes de cor lá atrás, toda esta zona de sombra está com excelentes detalhes, o que me faz pensar nas tuas perícias do pp (aquelas que tu dizes não serem nada de especial...).

Olá Paulo,
Boa composição, cores bem contrastadas e luminosidade no ponto.Bonito este largo embora um pouco desertificado a ver pelos prédios quase devolutos.
É uma pena, mas as pessoas destes locais também procuram melhores condições de vida.
No global é pena o Pelourinho estar um pouco torto.É da lente que provoca este tipo de efeito ou foi algum pp para endireitar algo.

definitivamente, tus fotos me hacen desear visitar tu país, me gusta lo que nos muestras en ellas, la arquitectura, la pintura blanca y amarilla en las fachadas, todo siempre muy fotogénico.
Has trabajado magistralmente con la luz y sus sombras, y me gustan mucho las farolas y la fuente en tu encuadre.
Es un trabajo excelente y con una gran calidad de imagen.

linda praça! A coluna me lembrou aquela existente em uma praça de Évora.
Suas fotos são primorosas e mostram sua sensibilidade ao retratar os cenários portugueses. Um país lindo, imerso em História, com um povo acolhedor. Você tem fotografado alguma coisa de Setúbal?
