Photographer’s Note

This is a view from the highest point in Crato, near the remains of the medieval castle. I bet that some times the yellow and orange of the flowers covering the fields is much more intense, but even so, I think that this photo presents well the aspect of the fields of this part of Alentejo not only in Spring, but also whenever there are a couple of sunny days after some rain, which can happen a bit randomly from October to May.

PS: I attached a WS with to a post that riclopes did a year ago showing a chimney that is located near the POV of my last post.

PPS: Following feather's suggestion, I posted a WS with the image cropped so the little chapel would comply the 'rule of thirds'. I also tweaked a bit the levels and saturation.
