Photographer’s Note
This is the Câmara Municipal (Town Hall) of Crato. I don't know anything about the building, but I guess that it must be at least 250 years years old. I am posting it because I like the sobriety of its forms and the luminosity of the photo.
The window of my earlier post is on the ground floor. I have also a post showing the square.
There isn't much PP here, at least on the colours. Just a bit of saturation to make the tones of the stone warmer and a perspective correction that wasn't very effective. Surprisingly I didn't use any filter to get that blue on the sky.

Olá José, bem vindo do Alentejo.

Good shot of the building in what appears to be strong light. I particularly like the shadows around the windows which give a graphic appearance to the image.

Hello José,
I rather like repetive scenery, especially when it is not overdone; and when it comes in odd-numbers. When you hang artwork on a wall, interior decorators claim, "one, three or five." The intense cobalt blue of the sky, provides a stark contrast to the white and pastels of the Câmara Municipal, and I remember well the first floor view. The note is useful, because I was certain that a strong circular filter was operative here. By measuring the light weighted from the building, the aperture has closed up to the point where the sky is so intensely blue. It's very very effective.
Have a productive week, devoid of few surprises.

Olá José,
impressing architecture with warm colours. I like the contrast of the deep blue against the red roof and the softer walls. The black balustrades are great against all this. Sharp and good framed. Who should be glad about non PP (or less) results?

The colours in this picture are well saturated. The sky looks too blue but then again I wasn't there to see it myself. The picture is very nice. I like the little details on the building. The good placement of the windows and the lamp on the wall. A nice building and well composed image. Thanks Jose.

Olá José mio,
Sorry to have missed this one, such an outstanding architectural detail in your whole portfolio. Surprizing that the deepest blue of your heavenly sky is colred without a filter, your pp created a true filtered outlook. Light on the building is very nice, and without any overexposure, creates a true contrast with your lovely sky. Also very nice repetitive balconies and closed shutters on this Portugese façade, they make tihs photo look wonderful even in the thumnail form. Really beautiful, colorful and graphical detail for sharing. Congrats my friend,
Cheers,
Deniz

Hi Jose,
A simple scenery, but a great composition and colour toning. I love that deep blue sky in combination with the deep red roof tiles.
A good picture, good eye seeing this.
