Continuation of the series of the Carnival in Castelo de Vide.

I am sorry that the 'drunken gipsy grandma' is a bit out of focus; maybe it isn't so inappropriate considering his/her situation; or maybe if I had drunk some of her wine I would have done a better job.

PS: The time in the Exif data is 1 hour ahead. Only now I noticed that the camera clock is wrongly set.

Hi Jose,
I really like the expressions you captured in their faces. Although a bit blurry, the depth of focus enables you to isolate the subjects from the background. Nice photo.

Hello José,

A very good double-portrait of the attractive young couple. Did either of them say anything, or did they just scrutinize the photographer and moved on? I like such slices of traditional life, in this case at Carnival time.

Hello Jose.
Wonderful shot! Full of energy and interest. The exposure is so sharp and the colours so natural. I like seeing the man's silly face so close to the camera, and above him this beautiful girl. It doesn't matter that he is slightly out of focus. You convey the spirit of this carnival very well.

Grande papelão que o tipo fez neste dia, José. Dá para perceber no WS1 que estava toda a gente focada nele. O WS2 está excelente com a cena lá atrás desfocada (será que foi com o photoshop ?). Esta é sem dúvida a mais indicada e divertida, apesar do desfoco nele. Ela ficou muito bem e gosto da perspectiva lá atrás. Grande colecção!

Parece que a ocasião foi ótima para captar belos espécimens humanos. Não precisa se desculpar pelo foco, a gente compreende o seu "ponto de vista" ;-)
Gostei muito desta série carnavalesca e da maneira como você a apresentou, com o guided tour - facilita muito a navegação e ficou criativo.

nice this snapshot with the beautiful lady to push the invalid chair,with the paraplegic on it,she looks more than paraplegic than as drunken one.Nice colours and even more artful smile from the lady.I like the low POV that proffer a great view from the pair.Informative your note too.

Un sujet intéressant et très humoristique; les expressions des personnages sont bie captées; l'homme ... heu la dame joue bien le jeu.
Pour la mise au point (focus), c'est difficile d'obtenir une grande profondeur de champ avec une courte distance et une grande ouverture de diaphragme.
Mais les têtes sont parfaitement nettes.

nice close study of those two showing their fun. The little out of focus adds some dynamic here, makes it more with life as posing. I think you got this year a fine assortment of good carnival captures.

El señor o sea la abuela la conozco de tus previos WS, la que esta muy linda es la joven que realmente parece una gitana de verdad con su cara pintada y su cabeza cubierta del paño de colores. Excelente composicion con muy buenos colores, nitidez y POV. Buen DOF.
