Photographer’s Note
A "feel-good" picture of men talking in Lisbon, Portugal. I like to take pictures of architectural structures because of my architectural background. This one is simple yet the lighting made it look grand.

Another good picture from you Karin. You carefully composed this shot and the formation of the people are even well-placed. Very good shot of people and places.

Another good one, Karin. I like the architecture of arches. Those people, standing and chating add life to this photo, and yes, light is excellent.

You see a lot of archway shots like this - I tried to do a few like this in a similar looking place in Spain. But this is better than my shots and it stands out from the crowd.
You are right the light is very suitable and the composition works very well with the position of the figures and the "end point" of the arcade. I like it!

I just love this kind of arcades, you can see from my pictures of Italy. You have a fine perspective in your picture and the people adds the size measure. The way the men stand in two groups also adds a relaxed and friendly feeling to the place. You might want to try and correct the verticals on the left, I did a workshop on that yesterday, look in my "workshops given" and see on the forums about "adjusting vertical lines", I got some help ther from AdrianW
