Hi Rui,

This is spectacular. Well composed, excellent use of lead-in lines. I particularly like the people sitting at the bench, it makes this photo.

Esta foto é admirável de condições exteriores e de um excelente fotógrafo como o Dr.Rui capturou este momento. O enquadramento é magnifico, o cenário fabuloso, o céu inspirado e pronto para aceitar uma das melhores capturas e fotos que alguma vez vi aqui sobre Lisboa e arredores.

Extrema qualidade, composição e cenário, obtidos de uma forma sublime e inesquecível. Penso que ainda tenho lugar para a considerar como favorita na minha lista e será a 100.

Hi Rui,
The tree is for the romance. Without it it would have been a more impressive view, I think. It's almost graphic with the pylers of the bridge. That couple adds some usefull foreground. The rightlower part is a bit overexposed. But it's a nice pic. Thanks. CU, Erik

Wonderful capture. People look so small against that huge bridge, yet they are the center of attention in this perfect shot. The light is beautiful, too.

Wonderful play of perspective, silhouettes and backlight, Rui!
The composition and overall contrast are fantastic and if it wasn't for that ugly lamp post (left of the sitting couple), the scene would be perfect!

Perspective and compostion excellent in this shot with the couple although so small in the shot forming such a large part of the composition. Although nearly monochromic in looks this would make a good subject for conversion to B&W. Note just looked at Erik's WS converting into B&W - I must admit both versions look good.

Olá Rui, Não há muito a dizer sobre esta foto... apenas realçar o que outros já disseram: Simplesmente fantástico.

A técnica de contra-luz não é facil de dominar (eu que o diga), mas aqui o resultado final é impressionante... além de que existe uma alta dose de romantismo.

Parabens por este (e tantos outros) trabalho.

Excellent point of view and great use of the silhouettes and reflective surfaces. The contrast is nice and strong helping to create a depth to this more graphic looking image. The bridge towers over the scene as it extends way out across the water. But the true size of the bridge only comes into perspective when you see the people. Then it looks just huge. Excellent capture.

Sou irmão de um grande irmão que não é um artista plastico como eu, mas que tem em essa sensibilidade uma componente imaginativa e muito criativa, exactamente numa semelhante forma de criticar com o seu excelente trabalho cheio d3e tonalidades e formas diversas de composição.

Esta sua foto é uma das ultimas que publicou, mas da minha parte irei ver o seu passado recente aqui, por que consigo e com alguns bons fotografos dignificamos este País a nível artístico e de qualidade fotográfica a nível internacional. Prometo da minha parte contribuir para isso.

Os meus sinceros votos para as suas experiencias e realizações.

Só publico uam a duas fotos por semana porque não tenho tempo, e espero que compreenda mas estarei atento as grandes obras dos nossos.

Excelente perspectiva, criando a verdadeira noção dimensional.
Exposição de luz está correcta: criando o contra- correcto,sobressaindo o brilho da água mas sem "queimar" a foto.

I really like this photo! The very dramatic bridge grabs my attention, and the 2 people add a prefect accent to the photo, and the tree is a nice touch too. I'm adding this to my favourites. Well done!

fantastic shot, Rui. This reminds me of the Woody Allen film "Manhattan," the scene where the two lovers sit under the Brooklyn Bridge in silhouette. Great work! I love the B+W version as well.

Another "critique" for this one.
Extraordinary. The bridge with its strength and the curve ending in the opposite corner.
The light, the people on the bench facing each other, the second bench, the tree contrasting with the bridge, all that is a kind of "music".
I'll often look at your pictures to learn.
